Laurel Canyon Radio Presents Toby Lightman with Marla & David Celia at Hotel Cafe May 16

We’re pleased as punch and happy as heck to present the first of many shows in concert with the Hotel Cafe. Our first show features singer-songwriter Toby Lightman, on the heels of an all-acoustic lullaby cover album “When The Lion Sleeps” featuring “Moonshadow”, “Blackbird” and more. Bring your pajamas (or not) for a night of familiar tunes in a whole new light. Supporting Ms. Lightman, is Toronto’s own Marla and David Celia, the product of what happens when a Canadian troubadour and a German singer/songwriter decide to become musical partners. Their debut album “Daydreamers”, which is bathed in absolute beauty, proves that the result is a great partnership. Wonderful melodies, handsome vocal harmonies and sublime instrumental interpretations make this album an absolute hit. David Celia is a wizard on guitar alongside Marla’s lush, sometimes husky vocals. David has four self-produced solo albums and tours frequently across Canada & throughout Europe (including memorable appearances at Glastonbury Festival).
